Haven't thought about the first 4 in a while, but there was an article in the SF Chronicle (? I think) the other day about a professional webcam girl's disturbed, aghast reaction to domestic wiretapping. I guess that's reasonable enough - it's OK to let people watch your every move if you control the content, but creepy if the government does it (and presumably doesn't pay you for it).

Your musing about various denizens of the pop culture graveyard came up in a conversation I was having last night, to which the conversants unanimously proposed adding "American Gladiator." Gladiator? Of course he is!

American Gladiator! Holy moly, that's surely one for the list. The first time I saw that show I thought it was the sign of the end times. Turns out I was a few horsemen short of an apocalypse.

you can still get smartfood popcorn around these parts....and i was wondering about jennycam myself today. whatever did happen to it? i wonder when she took it down? i admit i used to visit on occasion....
